Schuttgart siege
I want to tell you that our FromTheWorld clan was invited to help to capture, and later, to defend the castle of Schuttgard (hard name, isn’t it?). We defended the castle a week ago and took it over even earlier, but I still want to tell you about it.
Offense
So we were asked to help the Fusion clan, which decided to take over the castle from the Devotion clan. Achtung and GDL&co clans also came to assist. Everything started quite fast. We came to the castle, positioned our flags (clan HQ) and started to buff, when a large zerg (big squad), leaded by hero, attacked us. They aimed for our flags, but we repulsed the enemy. After some few tries they’ve finally destroyed our clan HQ, but the fun started later, when we positioned our flags again and moved to attack.
We moved in quite fast and without major loses, but those sneaky bastards attacked from behind and destroyed our flags again…and they lost the castle while they were busy back there. The funniest part was that after that both sides had to respawn in town, course we didn’t position new flags for us. The only ones who could respawn in castle were Fusion, course they became castle owners. Our enemies got the better position, course they could gather in town and rebuff and stuff, but we needed to get back to our army, to get buffs so we had to get a portion of arrows, while we were running out of town. The one thing that helped us get to our people alive were CP potions (CP = combat points, if you don’t know). Without those potions I’d be dead after a second out of town. I remember how we waited for their hell army at the hill near the castle and they always tried to sneak past us and get to the castle without a fight…and one time they really did it. That’s when we needed to yell “SoS” to Fusions, so they’d teleport to castle. course they were helping someone on taking over Rune castle. But we could hold the castle then and it was the first major victory in which part of the credit belonged to our small clan. Baptism of fire in some sort
. And most important: my dream to participate in mass-pvp came true. And I got my first PvP point there, when we turned out the enemy to town and people came out of siege zone and started to become flagged…so I pwned one such flagged mage…
Defense
This time Devotion clan wanted to take the castle back from Fusion and we came to help defend it. Our army was the same, but the enemy army became larger. CORE (quite strong clan) came to attack and also some FS (one of strongest allys) and someone else were also seen. We wanted to check out the castles insides first, to know what to do if we have to fight inside, but some people said not to do it, so we didn’t go, but we felt regret after some time. The main gate was left open and the idea was to stand at the gate and to shoot down everyone that wanted to come up to the gate(to get to the gate people have to go up the rising paths along the castle walls) but they ran us over quite fast and we respawned inside the inner castle and tried to get out, but all the inner gates were closed. After some time running around and yelling something like “what idion built that castle?” and “why aren’t we defending Dion castle?” we found our way out. It was the rear exit which leaded outside the castle, but there’s no way to use it to get inside. So we waited some time and when some people gathered there we charged their clan HQs. It was a bloodbath and everyone of us were killed, but we won some time for our Russian army to re-form. When we respawned again we got reminded that there are such things as Gatekeepers inside the castle, who can port us anywhere. After that everything got better and we turned out the enemy to town three times. Well, less talking…you should better watch the movie, made by Daiimos, who is a member of Fusion clan. You can download it here:Schutt250207.avi 447.01 Mb. Our clan-crest looked like this
on a siege. If you see that thingy
